I understand your world view I just don't think they were doing anything to manipulate anybody or only telling one side of the story. Do we know this graphic was the only thing told about him or was it just part of a more comprehensive piece? So maybe the lie is that this graphic is not representing the whole piece? I do agree there was nothing really served by the graphic but snarky is the new normal.
That tweet was of a graphic that was on a piece talking about Yang. like everything else context matters. but yeah let's move on.
Yang up to a new high of 3% in RCP averages. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...ratic_presidential_nomination-6730.html#polls Harris and Buttigieg meanwhile are stagnating / declining. I could see Yang leapfrogging both of them if these trends continue, let's hope he has a good debate tomorrow, so his platform can hopefully expand further into the heat of discussion within American politics.
Just so you know, it was part of a piece where they were doing an overview of all the candidates' primary policy proposals. Each candidate got one slide. That was Yang's. Edit: even if that wasn't the case and it was part of a more comprehensive piece (it wasn't), the fact the official msnbc account tweeted that out stand-alone is awful enough.
Omg. Why did he just give the game away. Can you imagine how epic it would have been if this dude showed up and just started dunking on everyone?
Lolol, it's happening guys. Cruz vs Yang bball baby!! God bless America!! Basketball is the goat of sports
Half court or full? I'm guessing Yang will have better endurance than Cruz if it's a running game. Nevermind, won't even matter!
Ok I agree but like I said it was in July and nobody is using that to represent Yang currently. So what do you think is more harmful the media talking about Biden's gaffes constantly or that he is only leading because of name recognition or this tweet?
If Biden would stop making gaffes, they wouldn't be able to report on it. Ans insofar as people might think the gaffes reflect a loss of mental acuity, it's newsworthy. I'd also say it's a pretty fair representation to say he's leading on name recognition. The day he declared he was polling at something like 40%. Biden has been harmed more by negative reporting than Yang has, but the negative reporting has been more fair.
Not denying any of that but are the gaffs a true representation of the candidate just as Yang should not be identified by those lesser things he believes in? For the last month the only reporting on Biden has been is his gaffe and how much the other candidates are gaining on him. My point is that this narrative that the MSM is in the bag for Biden is a crock especially MSMBC who leans very left. What is your metric for stating he is leading on name recognition? Berny has a name recognition almost equal to Biden.
