    the amount of business they got in these past 2 weeks is on insane levels

    all Popeyes business execs about to get a raise after this one

    they’ve sold out nationwide...got people hustling chicken sandwiches out the back of their trunk in abandoned parking lots off Bissonnet

    They vastly underestimated demand, they didn't order enough chicken breasts from their suppliers. Hard to scrabble together new shipments to a nationwide network of places in a matter of days.

    Either that or the Gnomes of Zurich are sitting on a pile of gold and chicken sammiches somewhere under the Swiss Alps.
