Honestly, the only thing that's ever been shown to work is time-consuming. Take the dude to lunch. First couple of lunches, listen and try to understand the intense fear. Ask good but sympathetic questions. But yeah, I think *anything* on the internet will not help the situation. It is hard-wired to make things worse, and that's why we are where we are, in part.

No, as I said, I'm on a sparsely populated island in this regard. Most democrats I've talked to about guns want to maintain the right to arms. So, it's probably not popular enough to be called an agenda, and I can't find enough leftists to agree with me to call it leftist. As for controlling lives, yes, I want to make this change so I can get more control over my life. Unfortunately, I'm tyrannized by the majority that want to be able to tote guns around.
