Lol why would the Blazers have to trade two borderline all stars and two 1st rounders while the Nuggets would get it done with a good role player, three bench guys and a future 1st? Oh ok, because they would also get Porter jr...welp.

This is all reported and no one really knows but Lakers offer got worse IMO.

Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Ivica Zubac at the deadline
Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, 4th pick

Seems like they want to keep Kuzma afterall.

Overall on paper, doesn't sound like a great package though, Ingram with that blood clots problem, Lonzo and the circus he has around...the pick which seems like won't bring a top tier talent...

I wonder if the Rockets would be cool with the Lakers getting Davis if they could get the 4th pick in the deal...

    He's gonna be a Laker.
Pelicans land David Griffin, ex-GM of LerBon, who lands #1 pick to start over, who's gonna send AD to LerBon, who landed the 4th pick (when they were slotted something like 11 or 12)

If the Pelicans are already set on trading Davis, I expect this to be done soon.

You would like more time to scout/interview potential draft picks prior to draft night on the 20th.

Perhaps round two will be more successful than round one was for the Lakers.

The Lakers are trying to trade for Anthony Davis again, and whether or not they are able to nab him could hinge on how willing they are to part with their young stars — one in particular.

    Kyle Kuzma.

The New Orleans Pelicans are interested in three of the Lakers’ young players — whether that’s Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma or Josh Hart — and the No. 4 pick in order to acquire Davis, according to people familiar with the trade discussions who were not authorized to speak publicly because of the fluidity of the situation. It’s possible New Orleans could use the No. 4 pick to acquire a player from a third team.

Among the current young Lakers, New Orleans covets Kuzma the most.

According to people familiar with the Lakers’ thinking, Kuzma has ingratiated himself with the organization both on the court and off it and their management does not want to trade the forward who is entering his third season.

The Lakers might have an opportunity to keep their No. 4 pick should they agree to part with Kuzma.

Vanderbilt point guard Darius Garland has been heavily linked to the Lakers by people familiar with their draft discussions, as a likely selection with the No. 4 pick should they keep it. Garland is represented by Rich Paul, who is the agent for Davis and Lakers’ star LeBron James.

And though the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics have inquired about Davis, neither team is willing to gut its roster for the multi-skilled forward because both believe it would leave them without a strong enough team by having sent out so much talent.

The Lakers and Celtics are negotiating competing trade packages to acquire Davis, whom New Orleans EVP of Basketball Operations David Griffin seems intent on trading prior to the NBA draft on June 20, league sources said.

New Orleans and Los Angeles have canvassed the league with the Lakers' No. 4 overall pick to find a third-team who would use that selection in exchange for sending a high-level player to the Pelicans as part of a deal, league sources said.

The Lakers package has been centered on guard Lonzo Ball and forward Brandon Ingram, sources said. So far, it is believed that the Lakers are trying to hold onto forward Kyle Kuzma in a potential trade.

The Brooklyn Nets and LA Clippers are two teams with interest in Davis who've been able to gather any traction in conversations with New Orleans, league sources said.

Nevertheless, Boston is still determined to trade for Davis and hope that he can be an allure to keep All-Star guard Kyrie Irving from leaving in free agency.

Irving had discussed the possibility of joining Kevin Durant as a free agent in either New York or Brooklyn, sources said, but Durant has been lost for the 2019-20 season after surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles.

If they land AD via trade and still have a max slot they may be favored next year, with Durant out the mix now.

It’s almost as if everyone outside of LA and ESPN has eyeballs and can see Ball clearly wasnt a Top 10 worthy pick.

That Lakers package is trash and does nothing to help the Pels. Lonzo ball is a 42% FT shooter

Morey would normally jump on a Capela deal if he can get back the 4th pick, not sure about Presti because if they lose Adams their defense would take a huge hit and that's the only thing good they have as a team...but regardless, would they be ok to help the Lakers form a new superteam? Not sure about that...and btw i don't see Orlando move Gordon for a pick, he's 23 years old and their best player on a very good contract, makes no sense to trade him for a pick which doesn't bring a superstar caliber prospect.
