Sorry guys, I didn't know where else to post this. Mods: If this is the wrong section, please move it for me. For the season ticket holders out there, did you guys see another increase this year to renew? On the email that was sent over to me, my 2019-2020 price went up 10%. Last year, the pricing for the season went up by 10% as well. I'm sure this is expected given the huge lift in ticket prices and the current demand for season tickets but I thought current season ticket holders were protected somehow.
mine went up 8.7%, kind of expected, was the same rate for 2 seasons, I knew it wasn't going to stay the same for another fwiw it's gone up 25% since I started sitting my current section since 2011-12 lockout season
Hi. Would anyone happen to know how much season tickets cost for next season (2019-2020) and in which sections? Now, they are not advertising the price and require a $500 deposit and a sales rep will get back to you to discuss options. I refuse to do business like that and put money down without knowing a price. Any info would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, that won't really help that much. Current ticket holders pay a lower renewal rate than new season ticket holders coming off the street. Your best bet may be finding a first year season ticket holder, but I don't know how many of those are here on CF.
If I had to guess, it would start around $660, $15/game x 44, yes we still pay for preseason games, so around $660 for behind the basket like Sec 418/401 top 2-3 rows. When I started in 2006, I got the cheapest at $440 when it was $10/game, I don't think they've offered that past 2009
It has to be much higher than that. If I had to guess, upper deck behind the basket is going to start around $1000-$1300 per seat. Remember, this guy is a new off the street.
Really? that is pretty high, I'd say they start at $20/game at the most, so that'd be around $880/season
That just seems way too low to me. If that was the case then the upper deck center court seats are about 2.5x that rate. I have a hard time believing the price is $20 per game in that section given the price increases the past two years. Plus, this guy is not a current season ticket holder. They will pay more than you or I.
They're trying to reacquire my business. I was a season ticket holder for 6 seasons prior to this season. EDIT: For context, we started in 403, row 1 for the $900ish mark
Interesting. So for the tickets in 424 row 4, I have the same price block for my current seats. My quoted rate for next season was about 10% lower, but what's interesting to me is the price quote on section 425. That seems really high because I'm moving over to 427 which is in the center court sections and I'm paying a lot less than $5,200 for two seats. I think part of the reason is due to demand and value retention. As prices go up, the loss for season ticket holders intensifies. Makes sense in this case that the spread would be lower for the cheaper seats.
Fair enough. It's a bit of a jump from what we were paying originally, just weighing up the number of games we can actually make it to, to make it worth it. Also, if you go 424 row 2 as a "new retention" the price is $2,024. What did you get quoted - ballpark - for 427?
What do you mean by new retention? Sorry, I'm trying to figure out what that means in this context but I'm not sure what that implies. Does that mean a new ticket holder? I need to double check what I ended up paying but I think it was like $4200-$4400. It was somewhere in that neighborhood.
