Rockets Robbed - Clutch Headline on the Front Page

You see a lot of “nba fans” claiming Harden jumped forward on his jumpshots. While that certainly was true, Insert Scottie Pippens comments about those calls.

Pippen - You see players that drive and shoot floaters, the defender is not allowed to launch forward towards the player and hit him, it’s the same thing with a jump shot.

/that argument.

 

Exactly the point I was trying to make. If a guy decides to take a running jump shot from the three point line and someone moves under him, its a foul. I don't know where this jumping forward thing is coming from. It is not a rule. Whats next, is Harden supposed to go in for a layup or dunk and stop and jump straight up into the air so that no one undercuts him. People are just making stuff up because they are Harden haters.
