Fake Rockets fans are not only the real enemy on Clutchfans they are the real enemy in the world @Os Trigonum
None of that was running with the starters. That was all garbage time. Garbage time stats are MEANINGLESS.
I saw him play in the Summer League, NBA and G-League. My conclusion was that he sucked, but he got better his second year. The Rockets dropped him and NO OTHER TEAM PICKED HIM UP. Yeah Garbage Time is when you can easily score points against the other teams 3rd string players. So do you now know that Capela is better than Zhou?
I know Capela is better today. Because we did not develop Zhou. We developed Capela. We developed Capela on-court, playing with the starters. He had a unique opportunity. He was handed minutes while UNPROVEN because we had no other choices and because Harden refused to bend his game for Dwight and Dwight refused to bend his game for Harden. But what Zhou would have become this season if he were put in the rotation, instead of us fooling around with Ennis and MCW and Clark, is not known.
We tried to develop him and he didn't develop. We have a bunch of players in the G-league and summer league who don't develop to true NBA talent. Look you are wrong. There's no evidence that you are right. Your supposed Defensive Player of the Year, he's not even in the G-League. NO TEAM HAS PICKED HIM UP. let me repeat this NO TEAM HAS PICKED HIM UP. I don't understand how you do don't understand this.
Yeah, we tried. But we didn't try to the same degree we tried with Capela. Don't make everything about Zhou. I talk about every big we acquire or is at RGV that shows shooting potential along with switching potential. Because I know we need that skills combination in a player to win a championship. I happen to still believe Zhou has DPOY potential. And I would not be a bit surprised to see him resurface in the Association as soon as next season and become a rotation contributor somewhere.
Lol, we tried even more with Zhou cause Les wants another Yao Ming cause Les swims in Chinese money Please dude, when the ball doesn't go in the basket, that's not on the Rockets , that's on the player.
No we didn't. We did not run Zhou out there for substantial minutes with the starters during the playoffs and regular season. Don't be foolish.
First of all dude. Remember where you are, you are on Clutchfans and the 99ers rule Clutchfans. Second. I was at NBA summer league for the past several years watching our prospects play. Zhou got the ball often. I was there with OTHER 99ERS. @Os Trigonum @Aruba77 I understand this your dream and you don't want to wake up from it. I tell you. Get an Xbox or PS4 and you can make your Zhou Qi vs Durant dreams happen because it's not going to happen now.
You know we rule Clutchfans you knew it when you first stepped in our arena You saw Zhou play well in the Chinese league but he hasn't played well in any other league. You are not making any analysis based on any real basketball that was played. Everyone wanted him to play well but he didn't. He's off the team. And you can't stop that. No matter how hard you wish. You could even write a lil xan rap song about him and no team will pick him up. It's sad but it's true.
If you ignore the right people, this turned to be a pretty good thread. Dont understand why more people dont use the ignore function.
Not trying to stop it. Not wishing anything. Zhou did show something at RGV and in limited minutes here. I simply know this. We need a long 4/5 that can shoot the 3, switch defend, and hold the post. And we do not have that presently. I was excited about Zhou because we signed him to a 4-year deal. It is very rare that you get a second-round player committed for that period of time. I wanted us to escalate his development and get extreme value out of him for at least a couple seasons. We drafted him. And we signed him. Are you happy about the failure there?
LOL, first of all, 99ers are not either happy or sad if a prospect is a bust or a gem. 99ers have seen so many. It's when inferior fans latch onto a player and become blind to their actual play that we as 99ers look and wonder how this mindset was created. if you look at Rockets history, which you know nothing of, we have drafted dozens of players who don't make it who were tall and block shots. Please dude quit acting like you know everything your knowledge of the Rockets and basketball is ant like compared to the celestial knowledge of the 99ers @Os Trigonum
What do you think about Hartenstein? Do you have a lengthy post about him in some other thread? Or if not, can you give one here?
