Yesterday's loss was a definite win if we had Nene.

yesterday's loss was a definite win if Harden had made a couple more shots from beyond the arc.

    Also: next.

The Rockets ascension has been a great sign but we all knew that despite our success against GSW, the Rockets have a good shot at beating them but most of us would still favor GSW somewhere around 60/40.

Overall, yesterday's loss wasn't a big deal or indicative of anything we didn't already know, we still have a good shot.

Also Curry looked so giddy after the narrow win. You could tell that the losses to the Rox this season was getting to him. The expression on his face reflected a major sense of relief. That's gotta be a pretty good sign.

Exactly...Harden played like complete crap and the Rockets still had a chance. That said, when Harden is off like he was yesterday, he should defer to CP3, who was absolutely fantastic yesterday. In crunch time I actually prefer CP3 with the ball. The dude will make the right plays and knows how to get into his opponents head. He's way more feared and commands way more respect with his mind games and ability to control the pace.

Only reason Cousins is an issue yesterday was multiple arm failings and flopping. He would have been limited some offensively by the guards stripping him. We weren’t communicating defensively or putting much effort on boards and loose balls as a team for 48 minutes, while GSW was playing like a team on a mission. We will continue to gel as a team getting defensive rotations corrected, knowing where to be on the offense and cuts to the basket, boxing out on boards, and effort on loose balls. With these fundamentals we can beat them in a 7 game series with fair reffing without shooting the ball well.

I rather see Capela vs Cousins or Faried vs Cousins than running around screens with Klay and Curry or switching on them with a big or 1v1 with Durant with small defender. Anything to limit the ball with Klay, Curry, and Durant.

I didn't say based on last night. I said you got a playoff preview. I've consistently stated we cannot beat them by running PnR. Capela has to take a seat because he cannot shoot and switch well enough. Problem is we don't have anybody that can do that. Now last night we got a huge dose of Cuz with the post game. If he's healthy, Capela can't handle him in the paint either. So, basically we don't stand a chance against them without adding a serious shooting and switching 5 man ..... in April....and then if we do that...we might have a puncher's chance.

You are so pathetic that you bump a thread after a one shot loss! Where were you the other 3 times? I know posting trade Capela in every other thread. Your thesis died on May 28, 2018 when the Rockets beat the Warriors and frankly it died when the series went 7 games. If you want to start a thread about how the Rockets cannot beat Scott Foster with the current lineup, I might have to agree with you because I have poor evidence to refute it. The Rockets have a difficult playoffs and likely a difficult series against the Warriors ahead of them but they can and likely will win. They are not favored and nor should a team be favored over a two-time defending champ even if they didn't really win. The series went 7 games for a reason. That is an all-time team.

This is the same kind of dismissive arrogance that a former poster by the name @jopatmc guaranteed a Romney win. Some people never learn.

Because Golden State speeches their regular season very strategically. They are experimenting for the first half the season. Then after they experiment with ask all sorts of action and lineups, then they conserve minutes of their superstars in the second of the season, including mind if their death lineup. Then they roll through the post season.

    But... but... POTENTIAL!

This is just Thong's third year in the league, and he's still only somewhere between 22 and 30 years old.
