aquaman was a turd on a stick. the same people are tasked with the swamp thing tv series. so that'll be another one that'll suck.
I would add to that- Aquaman was a half smashed turd on a stick, barely hanging on by piece of corn kernal with a swarm of flies buzzing around it.
Just finished watching this. Really really good family movie. I’d say 9/10. Should be another great showing by DC as they continue to revitalize their DC universe.
The theme song became well known during the show's run. "Believe it or Not" debuted in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 81, peaking at No. 2.
When I was a kid I would always confuse The Greatest American Hero with Super Fuzz. I would picture him above but thought he would lose his powers when he saw red, which confused me since his suit was red.
Zack Snyder was the worst decision the DCEU made and they're paying for it. The best DCEU films, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and now Shazam have all had limited to no Synder involvement and they're turning out great.
I would be surprised if they don’t fast track Black Adam and Shazam 2 if this hits big at the box office.
Just like RDJ is the essence of Tony Stark, Zachary Levi is the essence of a manchild. Hopefully this is a star vehicle for him.
It a perfect role for him and I thought he was a weird choice when he was originally cast but he the best part of the whole movie. We saw it this weekend, it's a real crowd pleaser, sweet family message and strong performances from the cast. It's pretty much Big meets Superman, something they reference pretty explicitly in one quick sequence. I will say some of the basic origin cliches are there and the villain is pretty one dimensional but I thought it was still a lot of fun. B+
Saw this over the weekend, and I LOVED IT! It reminded me of Spider-Man 2 in regards to being a expertly balanced superhero flick with an essence of the movie Big mixed right into it. You guys are going to be super pleased.
Saw the Fandango screening over the weekend also, I liked it a lot. Big meets Superman is pretty much spot on. Fun movie, awesome references, highly recommend. if only they played the remix Kendrick Lamar track that was on the trailer Spoiler can anybody explain to me the mid credits scene?
