If they signed him and we didn't match. We would get their first round this year and next. Both picks would be at the bottom of the first round. Would rather trade him, if possible, for higher first rounder and high second this year or for Patrick Peterson and AZ. second which is almost as good as KC first. Not sure Arizona would be interested though. I would rather keep him if it is a little less than Mack.

If it's KC calling, anything less than two 1st rounders + 2nd rounder is a non-starter. I'm hesitant even then.
I would be more than hesitant. That's about like 3 2nd Rounders. If we have to trade Clowney it needs to get us into the top 15 and a high second or a pro bowl corner or OT and high second rounder. Clowney is still young and hasn't even reached his peak in my opinion. With a better defensive coordinator, I think he would be a no brainer to bring back.
If they get Clowney, their 1st rounders will be more like 2nd rounders. Send back a 1st, 2nd, and Kendall Fuller.
Ya this is working off the premise that KC is the only interested party. Call me a pessimist but I think there is 50/50 chance Clowney sits out in some capacity this season. And think the chance is a lot higher he is in another uni come the following season. I’m in the boat of getting something for nothing.
