This would be positive, at least it will slightly improve the undersize issue of this team.

Okay, guys. When's the last time Morey actually picked up a solid player in a really competitive market? The only arguable one in a while was Tucker who could've stayed in Toronto. Other than that, mostly everyone else has just been in limbo (and I doubt anyone was trading for Chris Paul to sign him to that big of a contract). Not a good track record to suggest that there's a high possibility of acquiring Morris.

If they can get Morris he should start right away at PF. I'm tired of Tucker getting pushed around and not being able to keep bigs off the boards.

That's fair. But LeBron makes more in LA off endorsements and I never thought he was coming to Houston for that reason. And with Melo, he didn't work out because a wet bag of sand could have played better defense than he did. It was pathetic. You are definitely right about the trez part though.

Seeing this team is simply demoralizing. Morey has ruined all expectations of the championship. We continue to pay his huge mistake of overpaying Anderson, and now we will suffer the consequences of giving Paul a ridiculous contract.
After a disastrous offseason (MCW, Ennis, Knight, Chriss ...) we continue to waste picks to keep under the luxury tax.
Too many mistakes in a very short time, too many.

He wasn't a role player in No. His stepback and dirk fade were banished in the Rockets system. And when his ankle went out, he was done.

It's dumb to start Tucker at the 4 period. Last year our team was set up differently. This should have been addressed and fixed over the summer.

He played well against the Warriors, and I think Morey felt the team was going to continue playing at that same level this season without realizing (or remembering) that PJ is undersized and offensively limited.

NO sucked and he shot the ball a lot because AD and Gordon were injured all the time and there was no one else who could create. At the time of the signing people thought it was a good idea because of the cap increase. The Rockets had just been swept in the first round a everyone was desperate for someone to shoot the ball that wasn't named Harden and people were also tired of TJones clogging up the lane. The league has changed a lot but back then RA was considered a very good scorer.
