Another secret meeting between trump and his boss, with no one there to take notes or advise him on what to say?
And important to note, we only now know about the meeting because putin did have a translator and note taker and they communicated about the meeting. Which makes you wonder, why putin/russia wanted Americans to know about that meeting now? Hmm...
That trump still has any supporters at all is inexplicable. The amount of information that's damning trump and connecting him and those closest to him, related or not, to Russia and their successful effort to "fix" the 2016 election for trump is simply overwhelming. Yet he continues to be defended by the same people here over and over again, some of them still claiming that, "I didn't vote for him!" What tragic nonsense. In my opinion.
It's tribalism at its worst. I've pretty much accepted there is a segment of the population that will never turn on Trump, no matter what he does. It's frustrating and hard to comprehend, but it's reality. Best to just accept it.
I can accept that there is over 20% of the population who are uninformed, quite possibly bigoted, and very possibly not highly educated. Folks that will latch onto something just because "it feels right" to them. And having latched onto something, stubbornly cling to it because to walk away "simply doesn't feel right." That's bad enough. What really gets to me is the other 10-15% who are highly educated, don't see themselves as bigoted and likely aren't, yet still defend trump. Why? They just like having a contrary opinion? They claim to care about the country, yet are complicit in helping trump badly damage our country, our allies and our friends, and all for the greater glory of Vladimir Putin and a mentally ill, pathological liar who appears to have worked hard to steal the 2016 election. Why?
Putin's Useful Idiot makes it official: The US is pulling out of a Cold War-era nuclear weapons treaty with Russia The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces, or INF, Treaty, prohibits the production or testing of ground-launched cruise missiles with a range of approximately 300 to 3,400 miles. The INF treaty, signed in 1987 by President Reagan and Soviet leaderGorbachev, prohibited the development and deployment of ground-launched nuclear missiles with ranges of 310 miles to 3,420 miles. The agreement forced each country to dismantle more than 2,500 missiles and kept nuclear-tipped cruise missiles off the European continent for three decades. W the US pulling out, the Ruskies are free to test whatever nuclear weapons they want, https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/01/us-will-withdraw-from-inf-treaty-with-russia-saturday.html
So at what point will you guys stop with the echo chamber circle jerk of Trump being Putin's useful idiot? It's painfully clear at this point with Venezuela that Trump is not doing Putin any favors.
It's clear today, with Trump pulling out of the Nuclear treaty that he is doing Putin plenty of favors.
