It's not new intel. The Patriots have ran mostly uptempo stuff on us and I suspect the Chiefs will do the same if we get a chance to play them.
One thing I noticed about the Colt's offensive linemen is they don't give up. Even when they got beat, they stay on their feet and keep blocking/pushing the defensive linemen. Impressive. There were multiple times Clowney and/or Watt were about to get Luck but the linemen was there to keep blocking.
Oh my bad. Didn't understand what you meant. I think the Patriots can be written in as top 2 but that's it. Chiefs could lose to the Chargers on Thursday and will be looking at wild card as a possibility.
I wish we could see Watson with a competent OL and a healthy Fuller and KeKe. The Texans could put up some serious points. Hoping LT trade in first for corner 3rd round RB(scat back ala Tarik Cohen)
So true, but only if he is on target. He had some touchdown opportunities this week and blew it more than once.
That's really the difference in the game, Watson blew a few opportunities for big plays, Luck didn't. Give Watson time, he's still all but a rookie, he'll come around.
If those plays were to Fuller, Watson would've completed those passes. He just doesn't have the timing down with Hopkins and Thomas when it comes to the homerun passes. Pretty darn strange IMO.
No, one of them was thrown so far ahead of Nuk that it sailed out of bounds. Watson just had a really bad game and was struggling with his deep accuracy. He'd have missed Fuller too. I think I heard something about him having a shoulder problem or something, could have been the reason his accuracy was bad on those throws.
Did you say "Texans might lose next week. Philly is desperate"? Plus how are Big Ben's ribs? Is he cleared to fly?
On that play to Nuk ran a post corner. But Watson threw inside so Nuk tried to adjust. It was overthrown big time ike you stated. Last week he had an opportunity to hit Nuk deep but he over threw him. That's why I said the timing isn't there. He's just not use to throwing it deep to other players. Imo
Texans play Jets next week and Philly the following week. Chances are by the time the Texans play Philly they would have been eliminated already due to losing to the Rams.
I don't think they'll be eliminated, not from the 2nd wild card. It's pretty much Vikes (looked dead tonight and playing rejuved Dolphins next), Panthers (steady losing and playing Saints next), and Washington (3rd string QB vs Jags), and Eagles. I don't see them being eliminated before hosting the Texans.
Dang you are right the 6th wild card slot is weak in the NFC. Well it doesn't matter, if the Texans can get Steelers to do us a favor then that Eagles game should be seen as a potential Playoff game for both the Eagles AND the Texans. I'd welcome a must win game for the Texans in order to get a 1st round bye.
