Really? Maybe this dude is worth listening to then. I doubt we are making a move today, half of our players aren't movable till the 15th.
At this point might as well wait til Dec 15th when more guys can be dealt. Maybe it's too late but here goes another trade idea: To Rox: Tristan Thompson, Rodney Hood (assuming he drops his no trade clause) To Cavs: Knight, Chriss, Green, MCW, Top 18 protected FRP
Rox: Stanley Johnson & Jon Leur Det: EG & 2nd rounder We get a starting 3 & D SF on a expiring rookie deal & a stretch 4 Pistons get more shooting to help spread floor Drummond & BG
There has been a mention of Jaylen Brown. Remember, you are dealing with Danny Ainge and the Celtics -- last year they were unwilling to include Jaylen Brown even in a trade that involved Kawhi Leonard. We are not going to put something over on Ainge. If you want something nice from the Celtics, be prepared to include several firsts as well as other VALUABLE current assets. And no, MCW and Knight are not considered valuable. And the Celtics have already made clear before they don't like Melo.
I think Ainge will probably ask for at least Chriss contract (expiring) and unprotected 1st, and it's possible other teams will offer more anyway...anyway Brown is interesting, but i'm not sure i would take that risk as today...we've been so bad that i'm really scared of moving our 1st rounder unless it's in a deal for a star...
Man, this probably wouldnt work but I would def trade a first round pick for Fred Van Fleet, that would be awesome. They probably wouldnt even take Gordon and a first(but I wouldnt do that anyways so...lol whatevs).
Out: Gordon, 1st Rd Pick, 2nd Rd Pick In: Vonleh, Thomas, Frank Depending on how NY approaches next season and their pursuit of KD, having Gordon in place along with KP and THJR really packs some firepower. Frank is the odd one out in NY and under CP's tutelage, his already impressive defense could improve further. Vonleh adds rebounding and is currently hitting at 44% on threes (very few attempts though. Expect that to dip here once you factor in attempts and the Rox shooting curse). Thomas and Vonleh will add significant defensive stinginess at the forward spots. Hell, it may take more to pry Vonleh away. I don't know...
He makes so much sense. Currently making about 3 triples s game on about 7.5 attempts per game. His volume would go up here. It would be nice to add a near 40% 3 point shooter, who is athletic, defends, and has high character. He is the type of player I hope Morey adds to increase our depth. Chicago is rebelling right now. Perfect timing.
I do like some of chi's pieces. Preferably, Holiday, Portis and Robin Lopez. Problem is WE NEED an Legit 3. and I don't see any available.
