so what's the verdict brehs? are we allowed to cheer him on because he's a good young player with no ego & drama or do we wish him death because he's a mav?
That's what I thought they should have done. Then sign a vet PG. PG Booker Luka JJ Clint But apparently Jackson kinda sucks. Haven't seen him much but it's what I've heard.
In this scenario you don't need a PG at all, because Luka can play PG full-time. The lineup would be: Luka Booker Mikal Bridges TJ Warren Clint Warren is not a true PF, so Suns would probably need to find one. Warren slides to 3 and Bridges moves to 6th man role.
That's true. Luka and Booker could split the playmaking responsibilities. Your lineup is better than the one I had. However this was my idea back during the draft, before I had really watched much of Luka (or Booker, to be honest) so I didn't know what all he could do; I just knew that he was really good.
you can say he's a good player which is perfectly fine and proven by stats . But never root for the Mavericks.
Until he demands a trade he is the enemy. It's like getting drafted to Isis and just being like "Well, I guess I'll make the best of it."
Well, we as fans have all the reason to hate them but the Mavs have embraced International players. Dirk, Peja, Nash, Wang ZhiZhi, Yi. Not a bad place for them.
A bit late, but anyway... Against Portland, Luka had a quiet first half, but came alive in 2nd half, especially during clutch moments. First he sunk a dagger stepback three, then threw a full-court pass to DSJ for a dunk. Game against Pelicans the day after was forgettable...it was 2nd game of B2B and Randle abused whoever they put on him. After Carlisle pulled Luka out in 3rd quarter, he didn't step on court anymore. Dallas is a bad road team and great home team, and they have a 3-game homestand now.
