Close fight could have went either way def wasn’t a robbery Canelo deserved it just as much as ggg. Now the first fight, that ish was rigged ggg won 9 rounds to 3 that was terrible. I’m a ggg fan I can’t stand canelo and Oscar but he wants gifted a win he fought the best fight iv ever seen from him he was really good and is becoming a true master of the sport.
Canelo-GGG = Pacquiao-Marquez The first 3 fights of Pacquiao-Marquez were close and controversial until the 4th fight. The 2 fights of Canelo-GGG were also close and controversial. This is where it’s headed unless both can change their strategy and fight style and make it an all-out brawl like Hagler vs. Hearns.
GGG was obviously robbed the first fight. Canelo had a much better showing in the second fight and it was a closely “scored” fight but as aggressive as Canelo was he didn’t have the damaging punches like GGG and I felt Canelo was fading fast those last few rounds. Max summed it up best, GGG tied the fight he won and lost the fight he tied.
Yeah Canelo's punches were the least effective. That is precisely why GGG looked like a truck ran over his face after it was all said and done. Lol what fight were some of you watching? The only thing you got right was that he faded at the end. Wasn't enough though.
Yes, GGG had cosmetic damage but that's not what I was referring to as damage. I don't really care how someone's face looks because it doesn't mean that those punches really rocked a person or that he was almost knocked down. I never got the impression that GGG got rocked to the point where he could get knocked out, definitely not as much as Canelo was a couple of times.
While everyone complained about cheap purses for way too many MMA fight cards - no one realized only a few boxers were making big money while the rest of the sport faded away. Wilder vs. Fury isn't even a big money fight. Mayweather, Joshua, and Canelo can't carry a sport - hell battle bots has better fight nights than a typical boxing card.
Inoue did it again, guy seems to be lightyears ahead of his weightclass regarding punching power and skills. Guy really making a case to be pound4pound best soon. Two world title match round1 KO victories in a row is just nuts, especially when you see how ridiculously few punches he needs, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naoya_Inoue#Professional_boxing_record
Fury vs. Wilder is a pay-per-view fight. I can't imagine much more than 100,000 paying for it. Golovkin-Lemieux had 150,000 buys.
Freddie Roach will be Tyson Fury’s cutman. Fury’s trainer is young, so I think this really boosts his chances.
Fights this weekend apparently, looking forward to it. Hopefully doesn't get too cocky, seems to have the reflexes and movement to have a great career.
Two clowns in their own way. Nothing for AJ to worry about if facing either..in terms of the fact that Fury doesn't have the KO in him and Windmill Wilder still can't box. That knockdown by Wilder was the best combination he has EVER thrown in a fight. He is still the most unintentionally funny boxer in the world. Fury is still the most intentionally funny boxer. He makes boxing fun. That KO should've put Fury out completely and he was out. He was asleep but it's as if his GYPSY ancestors woke him up like the undertaker waking up. Also... how nice, a draw. Set up for the rematch. The judge that scored it for Wilder should never judge a fight again. He gave Wilder the first four rounds!!!! The English judge was almost as scandalous in his scoring. And Fury thanking Jesus and blessing Wilder, etc. Man he is too funny.
