If you're talking about Garrett Wilson, I'd say no. He's drinking the kool-aid. Same thing with Bru McCoy and USC.
I have a hard time seeing UT beating OU twice in one season, but since OU has no defense it is at least possible.
Think there is a legit shot at McCoy. Guessing it'll come down to who Helton brings in at OC and/or WR coach.
Legit shot but an uphill climb because he's a "USC guy." If you grow up loving a school, it's going to take a shift in confidence to go somewhere else.
It sounds like he is going to hire Robinson as DC. I always though Robinson was a very good DC at Texas but this isn't a very exciting hire. Watch him get Greg Davis. LOL http://footballscoop.com/news/sources-mack-brown-hires-familiar-name-defensive-coordinator/
Right? Given what he wants to do (2-way style) why wouldn't that be the selling point? "My offense vs Pac12 Defense?"
FWIW, there are rumblings that the NFL could still come calling and Kliff is waiting to see if any offers come in. The Cowboys were rumored to be interested and was hoping for a loss last night (for more than one reason but a potential knee jerk reaction from Jerry being one of them) and apparently Atlanta is as well. No idea if any of this is true but think we'll hear something today.
From The Football Brainiacs on ATH Bru McCoy: The family is pleased with all of the recent coaching developments at USC, and we should expect him to announce for the Trojans at the All-American Bowl.
Atlanta should throw everything they have at Kingsbury. With a genius OC, Matt Ryan was an MVP-type player and they had a Superbowl in their hands before choking it away. Without a genius OC, they are inexplicably but consistently mediocre.
