Rockets would need a 46-19 record to get 55 wins or 41-24 record to get 50 wins

Let’s take a swing at determining what the Rockets record will be likely after Game 82.

    We have 65 games left: let’s predict their final record.

    Our mountain to climb is 46-19 record and we need to Rest Paul, Tucker and Gordon.

    I’m one of those who believes strongly in the importance of winning the #1 seed in the playoffs. Starting every playoff round at home, and playing Game 7 there if needed, is a powerful psychological tool. Therefore, staying where the team currently sits is of paramount importance. I like our chances of doing so, though it won’t be easy.

    Let’s take a swing at determining what the Rockets record will be likely after Game 82.

    just to get to 60 wins they have to go 41-24 which is a winning percentage of .630


    They currently have a winning percentage of .529 …. one fifth of the way thru the season.


    Since the 1-5 start (.167) they have gone 8-3 (.727) …. which team are they ?! Or is it which team shows up on a given night ?!

    The one that stomped a mudhole in the ass of the Warriors …. Or the one who just got spanked by the lowly Cavs ?!
