I realize that. But Ant is Tolliver. There are some variations in information. I'm saying Ant is Tolliver from a different source. One deal that was supposedly virtually agreed to (that Thibs killed with his non-good faith stupidity) was a 3-way deal with Tolliver coming here along with others. Taj has obviously been discussed. But he is Thibs guy. Thibs loves him and not willing to part with him.....period. just like we ain't parting with Friar. Ant is Tolliver. He was almost a Rocket a week ago
There was absolutely nothing connecting the Rockets to Butler in the beginning other than ClutchFans.
Also...the cleaner reference has to do with us suggesting to the Twolves to buy Butler out and we'd trade Knight, Chriss and/or, and a pick to Sacramento and take back Dieng, while minny got a couple expiring deals from Sacramento. We would've gotten a point guard out of that scenario and that type of "cleaner" arrangement is still on the table. However, Butler not interested in buyout at this time because he wants his 5-year max deal next summer. But there is pressure being applied to Butler in this manner. Minny could release him without a buyout. And that would cost him a year on his new deal. And so they have ratched him down somewhat with that threat. But that's about all the leverage they can use. Butler knows he can sign a 1-yr max then go after the other 4 years in 2010. Minny is finally, slowly coming around to the fact that they're rebuilding again and there are no deals out there that can possibly keep them playoff contenders.
Morey is trying to get Jimmy without EG. Jimmy might be bought out. And then that leads to the guys who buy into the “insiders” suggesting offers like Knight and Chriss for Jimmy. Yeah. I do not believe Anthony Tolliver can be traded until Dec 15th as he was a FA summer addition to the Wolves.
