Finally found someone that agreed with you. Good for you. A coach should know if his team is able to execute the play he is calling. That is what practice is for. Running up the middle from shotgun would absolutely work with a different running back and offensive line. That doesnt make it a good play call with the wrong personnel.
Deshaun Watson is the main reason for the Texans struggles, not obrien. I know it’s not what fans want to hear but it’s the truth.
Lol For every media person you can find that agrees with you I can find at least five that think a good portion of the problems with this offense is with the coach. Deshaun isnt without blame but neither is the coach.
Who the fk is Brett kollman, and y u keep bring him up to sht on watson. I can point to a sht ton of people who can wholeheartedly agree thast Bob is a sht coach.
BOB is beyond dumb .... even a broken clock is right twice a day , he's gotta be trying to fail . Our rushing offense looked a lot better last week when we ran straight up the middle with a power back . Why are you trying to do that with Miller !? The worst thing is that we've (on this board) have had this discussion for years .... and BoB still thinks running miller up the middle is a good idea . It would be one thing as a surprise tactic ... but when you do it every first down it's not unexpected
You gotta judge Watson considering he's injured and playing with the worst ol and worst OC in the league. He's been good imo
Damn, BOB is a bad coach. I think you should give the HC time to figure things out, but he is plain dumb. Its not going to get better. What happened to the QB whisperer. He hasn't made any QB better. They come here, look like garbage, and then he goes out and gets a new one. At some point you have to blame the coaching staff.
People don’t want to admit it but Watson is the main reason for the struggles on offense. Obrien is not the one fumbling and throwing ints. And I don’t want to hear what a bunch of arm chair QBs have to say. All they do is spew the same lazy narrative, without anything to back it up. Here’s what you need to know.
The one play the guy breaks down was terrible analysis. The safety blew his coverage on Hopkins. Hopkins should never have been open and the pocket was collapsing. Watson sees this and looks to the other side of the field. Still nothing, so Watson scrambles, makes something out of nothing and hits Griffen in the hands. And this is his example of Watson's poor decision making? If the O-line would have held for two seconds this analysis might hold water, but it didn't, so Watson did what he had to and should have had a TD pass.
