Anybody seen or heard from vonbock? They had so much to say earlier. Haven't heard anything since the game. I hope Watson hasn't upset them too much.

I wouldn't call him great yet, but if he keeps improving and learns from mistakes he might be one day. I hope so!!! There are at least 25 quarterbacks with higher completion percentages, and that is where he can get better. If he stops throwing interceptions in the red zone every week he will also get better. i think he will learn from mistakes each week, and then hopefully will be able to score more touchdowns after getting to the red zone. He is holding onto the ball longer than anyone in the league, and once he is able to get a quick release we will be even better.

I think doing as you've suggested would make him a top-3 QB in the league or perhaps, #1. Adjusted for his experience level and offensive-line I would submit that in fact he is already great and only negative deviations from his current trajectory would displace him from that path (or an entire career playing for O'Brien).

Whether its the offensive design or the players talent, the crappy o-line is on B'Ob.

Racking up so many sacks, we all know VERY WELL, can derail a QBs career.

It's inexcusable they didn't try to replace the line with better options.

Hope Deshaun continues to not get frazzled and mind...

That would be nice, considering so many other young QBs are doing really well this year, and also will only get better. I have no idea if he will ever get on the level of Maholmes, as far as being able to throw the deep passes so well, or hitting the guys in the end zone so frequently, but if he does we will be on top of our division easily.

Every time I watch Mahomes play I get real pissed. Not because he's better than Deshaun. It's because he got the better coach.

I haven't enjoyed watching a QB this much since the days of Farve and Montana! He has an amazing ability to look one way, throw another direction, and throw beautiful passes on the run. I love this kid. I get mad every time I think we didn't move up and snag him first.
