[idea] The forum should add the year of the OP to thread titles. e.g someone types "Beverley out for season" and the forum displays "2017 - Beverley Out For Season" And when someone bumps it in 2018, "2017 - Beverley Out For Season" Ruins lots of trolling and bad bumps. Maybe it doesn't have to go in the title, just in another prominently displayed field. Just a thought.
Prime example of OP's issue. This Harden bday thread got bumped, prior to the one with his age in the title. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/happy-birthday-james-harden.284882/ I thought he was 28 yrs old for most of the morning today...
Another bump of a two-year old thread, for apparently no reason: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...preciation-thread.274440/page-3#post-11940845 I like the OP's suggestion. Some sort of visual marker for bumped threads would be nice.
I'm another fellow who likes the idea. I've been fooled before. Perhaps someone should post the suggestion in the supporting members forum. Give it some more "heft."
I like this idea ONLY IF it is triggered by the year being less than current year. I don't need 99% of the threads on the front page of the GARM starting with [2018] So threads made in this calendar year should not be effected, but for all threads made prior to current year it could be added.
Umm, do yall not have the little gray subtitle under the thread title that shows the OP name and the timestamp for when the thread was made?
On my phone, in portrait view, it shows the timestamp for the last post but not the timestamp on the OP. But, in landscape, I see both.
