This is truly an excellent post. Of all the replies, I like it the most. Melo's un-natural aura on the boards. Too much excitement from the Clutchfans hordes. Intent was to temper expectations. Before real season manifestations. I hope Melo proves us doubters wrong. And Clutchfans sings a champ'nship song.
I hope everyone realizes by now that the only thing relevant is if he's healthy and productive in the playoffs I don't care if he Robert Horry's the regular season I just want him to Robert Horry the post season
I too hope he proves the doubters wrong, and has them singing a different song. I didn't really have feelings either way, so there's nothing he will do to make me sway. All I really want is is an edge up from last year, and to see Anderson get off the pot or get a kick out by the rear. Those Championship years seem like ages ago, and our highs and lows have been up and down like a yo-yo. So, here's to hoping you and all the doubters see him in a different light, as he brings our team to a higher level worthy of the Championship fight.
The OP is hilarious - it's like this guy hasn't seen ay of the threads over the last few months. Too good...
Fans were pretty harsh on Luc Mbah a Moute during the WCF. I thought that was unfair considering he was on a minimum deal and injured. He was playing really horribly though.
When we say, "Who me?" or "We need to move the ball more. My game isn't standing around. I 've been playing basketball all my life and I know what works for me. I tried, but I'm going to do me. Give me the damn ball."
Here's a little somethin about a baller like me Should have never been let out of NY JR Smith would like to say I'm a crazy ass baller from around the way Since I was in Denver, I 've been ballin out Taking out a Jeremy Lin or a Mike Dantoni or two, that's what I do You don't like how I'm ISOing, well F YOU!!! ISO ISO Straight out of NY- NBA not NWA
These negative Melo posts are pretty stupid... For one, we are paying him the vet min and two, we are talking about a guy who averaged 16 ppg as the 3rd option on the dumbest playoffs team last season. I don't like him as a first option, but on our team he is basically a 3rd or 4th option, potentially 5th depending on how much Capela improves.
No one is upset about his salary. No one is upset about his role on the team. The negativity is based around his attitude and the potential effect on team chemistry.
