This is how the Marlins apparently chose to retaliate to Ronald Acuña leading off the first three games of this series with home runs. He tried to give it a go in the field just now but his elbow was clearly bothering him.
Did he run his mouth or show them up? If he homered 3 straight games and kept his mouth shut, then that is chicken ****. On a side note... better career.... Soto or Acuna?
Anybody following Michael Kopech's unearthed tweets? Apparently homophobic & racist... Still amazed this keeps happening. I've only seen a few of them so far, and they've all been normal stupid kind of stuff teenagers say (or at least when I was in school). Apparently he did drop the N word, which I wouldn't classify in the normal. Myspace was popular when I was in high school, so it was a different time, but that is still the existence of social media, even if it was very different than what it now. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...-offensive-tweets-were-immature-inappropriate
Looks like Ohtani will need TJS http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...d-tommy-john-surgery-pitcher-dh-shohei-ohtani
The inverted W claims another victim. I honestly don't know why anyone allows people to pitch like that, it's just a major injury waiting to happen.
LOL. Brewers were 5 games behind not long ago, and now they are NL Central Champs. Good game to down the cubbies.
Typical cubfan bleacher garbage. While alcohol was no doubt involved, those people are idiots when they're sober as well. Speaking of stereotypes ringing true, this is amazing, I think I've watched it 5 times in the past week: Predictably in the end, the 2 idiots who stole the banner and tried to ransom it back to the Red Sox got exactly nothing from the team when they returned it after being destroyed by the media and other fans.
A guy I work with is a diehard Cubs fan. I can only imagine how much this hurts. It's hard to believe how the Cubs season ended. With a few games remaining, they were sitting tight with the best record in the NL and looked World Series bound. Then they lose the tiebreaker game and the Wild Card game on consecutive nights at home. Just wow. LOL!
Was telling my cousin earlier today that I would love to see the Yanks lose, but I think the A’s have already peaked and I think they’re done. A lot of game left, but awful start. I stayed up for the Cubs game last night. They really cratered at the end of the season. Baseball can be so unforgiving.
Lots of game left.....I kind of had a knee jerk reaction there....but that HR by Judge in the 1st is huge....sets the tone.
