It can get really crazy because there are so many leagues at play, and hundreds of millions of dollars being thrown around.
They also try to trade superstars for a lesser player and cash but it never panned out. So it's just moneez.
Lelz. Pep Guardiola is sucking up to Chelsea and his colleague Sarri. Saying Jorginho is a much better fit with Chelsea. Pep is going the slimey way.
MLS sources saying Bayern is buying Alphonso Davies for 12mil, guy is 17 and played in the MLS as young as 16. Would be the most expensive player ever sold by a MLS team, breh is a winger and also plays offensive midfield or false 9. @DaDakota or any other MLS followers here, do you know the guy and can tell us about him?
He's been one of the top young talents in the league. Good for a ridiculous, unpredictable finish once in a while (like in the DC game last week) but can still finish the routine ball in the box (when he's in there). Whitecaps fans might know better about his specific weaknesses. Maybe some on Bigsoccer might have more info. Seems to have a solid head on him and I've seen him listening to vets on his team before (taking advice from fellow striker Kei Kamara for example) rather than ignoring or being a jerk to them. He reminds me of a stronger, less selfish Ousmane Dembele. I'm not sure what his best position is because he is a problem for defenders wherever he is on the field-on the wing, up front, when he drops to midfield. I'm sure the right manager will figure it out and get the best from him. The kid is a generational talent for Canada and imo will only get better and more beastly as a player under European competition and coaching there. Trying to think of the top young talents in MLS over the past couple of years or so and he's consistently been up there. Would've been fun to see him playing for Bayern today vs PSG and Tim Weah.
Any addicts on here already watching pre-season footy? The big teams have started playing other big teams this week (ICC tournament) and always nice to see the young players on several big teams (before they get sent out loans...or fall down the depth chart/pecking order). City vs Dortmund yesterday, Bayern vs PSG today Liverpool vs Dortmund tomorrow
I usually keep track of the transfers market and don't watch pre-season games. But i have some time so I'll watch Liverpool-Dortmund tomorrow
I watched City v BVB just to see Mahrez and Pulisic. Couldn't make it through the whole thing, it was so painfully bad and boring. But with no NBA/NFL this is all I have right now.
If only they would field half of the A listers and not the 3rd squad. Liverpool vs Dortmund is special because of the Jürgen Kloppo.
I wanna go to the Barca vs Roma game in Dallas but the cheapest tickets are like $35 for some super nose bleed.
Thanks breh, I'm starting to get hyped for the kid. The official MLS site now also stating he's out of today's game because of a possible Bayern deal and the team's twitter saying they'll give an update on developments soon, so guess it will be made official in the next days.
