Off topic: Nobodys vote should be restricted, regardless of race, sex, or some other restrictive group. Blacks can vote once they become white. The more you know. Women can vote once they become men. The more you know.
Meh.... I think I will go buy some more guns. I don't have the new 1095-TS 10 mm carbine yet. I hear that it is a lot of fun. I have lots of guns.... I just don't trust other people with guns.
I think that's how most people are the only difference is that some let that distrust lead them to want to take away the rights of others and some respect the rights of others despite the distrust.
Have you purchased a gun lately? The scenario described is illegal. You must complete a 4473 to purchase a gun which is your background check. You must have an FFL to purchase a gun on line or know someone who does. If you buy a gun on line using someone else’s FFL then you are required to fill out a 4473 background check. It is also illegal to purchase a gun for someone else without that person filling out there own 4473. You can not legally take money from a stranger and then buy a gun filling out a 4473 on yourself and give it back to that stranger. If you do those things and get caught you will be paid a visit from a person with a badge.
I have purchased guns at gun shows and one of the 1st questions on the 4473 asks if you are purchasing for yourself or someone else. If you are purchasing for another they have to fil out there own 4473.
Nah. If you want to rail on about the 2nd amendment you should have a better idea of what you're trying to discuss.
They aren't doing the sale online. They are making the sale in person. Becomes a private sale exempt from background checks in most states as long as it isn't a dealer. It is really common.
The original purchase is online. You have to have an FFL to buy a gun online. If you have an FFL you can not sell a gun without a 4473 on the purchaser. The scenario @CometsWin posted is illegal.
So which part are you claiming as legal? Buying a gun on line with out an FFL or an FFL holder selling a gun without a 4473 on the purchaser or both?
Only required for dealers or out of state transactions. In state individuals are free to meet up to complete purchase in person. Used to happen on Craiglist and Facebook, but both platforms now ban them in(CL has for a long time). What you are describing are not private sales. They are what you deal with online dealers. Private parties are subject to it if they are sending out of state, which then require a dealer to operate as an intermediary.
What hacks. I bet when the specified both "the press" and "the right of the people" in the first amendment they actually meant only those with direct authority from President Trump. Back then they could have never anticipated the media industrial complex. Needs common sense regulation.
