The Astros can’t get one run against the Royals bullpen? Okie dokie..... great baseball played tonight.
They said it last year, that's why some efforts were taken to add green paint. I saw some tweets within the last week that Reddick said on MLB radio they don't see the ball as well at home.
Two pitiful losses to sorry teams at home so far on the home stand. It happens but this team is under performing at home overall. It has to be mental or something.
There something missing in this lineup. They’re crushing the ball on the road and then they come home and like a switch they can’t hit. There is something wrong with this team.
I do not know what it is, but for whatever reason they just do not hit at MMP this year....WHY? I have no ****ing idea. Do you?
There’s not something wrong with this team. There’s something “wrong” with the hitting environment at MMP
I read an article a couple of days ago about it. The players really like playing at Oakland due to their batter's eye as opposed to the one at MMP with all the ads they've placed over the last two years. Altuve's hitting something around .380 on the road these past couple of years, and that number goes way down at home. EDIT: Found it https://www.mlb.com/news/charlie-morton-struggling-with-control/c-282295508
Correa came into the year with the big talk about wanting to be MVP, etc. He is not living up to the generational type player hype so far in his career. Still a quality player and core guy no doubt but MVP caliber? Generational? Not even close. Altuve is the only position player that meets that criteria on this team.
Opposing teams aren't lighting up the scoreboard either. It may be lame but the players are saying it and it may just be it's in their heads.
