Felix Götze leaving Bayern and joining Augsburg, I liked him and thought he had potential. Guess we either couldn't show him a satisfying role or the bosses think we are set with Boateng, Hummels, Süle and Mai.
Yung - do you know when Arjen Robben is going to retire or stop playing for Bayern? I know the dude was really good but that was several years ago. How much longer is Neuer going to be out - is he going to miss the World Cup for Germany?
Just saw your post now breh, you should properly tag me. Neuer has played in the recent friendlies and is set to start for Germany. I think Robben will leave Bayern one year from now, same with Ribery.
Bayern has quit talks with Benfica, so seems like Renato is playing for Bayern this season. Bet Benfica wanted a buying option or some ish that Bayern would never do. Edit: Kicker saying Benfica didn't want to pay any loan fee, suckers.
According to Sport, Bayern has accepted a Digne+50Mil for Thiago deal. He's a left back, so would probably mean Bernat is gone. Not sure how much I like that deal, in today's market someone like Thiago should be worth more. On the other hand, Digne is proven and only 24, so he could even start when Alaba leaves in a few years.
I have a question as well though towards the season form of Thiago Alcantara. How good do you think he can play at the WC?
He's been in okay shape and the Spanish System is perfect for him, so he will do really solid imo. Played 90min in Spain's friendly game last week. I think Bayern is only considering selling because he wants to leave and Kovac doesn't plan with him.
Guti new coach of Real, according to the president of a Spanish club that wanted him. Abidal new technical director of Barca.
Thiago is a great player, would be missed, even though he tends to disappear in bigger games. But since he apparently wants to leave, is often injured and plays on a position we're set anyway (Martinez, Vidal, Goretzka, Tolisso, Rudy, ...), I wouldn't mind the deal.
Think my Liverpool are back. That midfield trio of Fabinho, Keita & Fekir is nothing short of orgasmic. Klopp did what he did this past season with Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum & Ox midfield. Imagine what he will do with Fab, Keita & Fekir playing behind Mane, Firminho & Salah. Great times ahead. YNWA! Now, go and break the bank for Oblak.
2019 is lfc's year! just need a world class goalie. mignolet is a mid table keeper and karius is broken after that finals.
I agree. I don't think Karius will recover from CL final blunders. Mignolet is a back up at best. Liverpool are a good, mistake-free keeper away from being a serious threat to City.
Brehs got cleverer - poor man's Rivaldo. Story behind it - Jorge Mendes, the infamous manager, felt sorry for them because his player Jackson Martinez was a failure, he tried to amend.
