All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP, that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on AT&T Sports SW unless otherwise noted. 5-18 Mike Clevinger (R) vs. Charlie Morton (R) 7:10 5-19 Corey Kluber (R) vs. Dallas Keuchel (L) 3:10 MLBN (out-of-market only) 5-20 Carlos Carrasco (R) vs. Lance McCullers Jr. (R) 7:08
Havent paid that much attention to Cleveland since they were eliminated from the playoffs last year. At a quick glance, their SP seemed ok, seemed to score runs. How are they near .500? Their bullpen apparently. To the tune of a 5.68 ERA and 11 losses. Lets knock Clevinger out early if possible. That may not be easy. He looks pretty solid. He does walk a lot of guys on 3-2 counts though.
The Preston Wilson *joined ATTSW?! I thought he was working for the Marlins/FS Florida. *Substituting for Julia anyways
Springer has zero confidence running the bases. Bregman's two-run HR robbed so we could go Granny ? Eta- Oohhh, so we could DP-y with zero runs..... F***
I would rather watch our starting pitching than our batting. Without our starting pitching we would be a .500 team.
2018 Astros Pitching Stats vs others (Live-Ball Era, since 1920) ERA -- 2.44 -- 2.45 ('67 White Sox) OPP AVG -- .196 -- .206 ('68 Indians) WHIP -- 0.97 -- 1.10 ('72 Orioles) K/9 -- 10.49 -- 10.08 ('17 Indians) Verlander's ERA is lower than Bob Gibson's record-setting season. I assume the past teams are the record-holders.
Altuve walked to the dugout before the out was completed. Sure, there was only a miniscule chance of a throwing error, but come on Sir.
Any thoughts as to why my iPad allows me to watch the Astros game and my computer says I am in a black out area? Both are using the same WIFI and we are currently in the Tampa area. I have tried multiple browsers. The only difference is I am using the MLB At Bat app on the iPad and going through astros.mlb.com on my computer.
