I don’t think the defense sans Jalen Ramsey will be as good this year, they kind of played out of their minds, granted they’re still a top defense. Also Blake Bortles is their QB, that speaks for itself. Tbh of their draft goes right and Luck is healthy(big ifs) I see the colts finishing in the top 2 with us cause Luck can be that good, but we have the most intriguing division in the league IMO
When it comes to Luck, I'll have to see it to believe it. I think at this point he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt till he proves he can be the guy he once was again.
IMHO 7 - 9 or 8 - 8 now if the all really big stars are healthy most of the season 10 - 6 I think we will start the season 0 -3 first win will be the first home game. Every year the Texas have a decent team we always end up with 4 to 7 wins always seems to happen.
To us and these experts it look easy. But after going 4-12 last season I wouldn't say this is a easy schedule.
Maybe because we have a history of losing games we suppose to win. Remember we should've beaten them when Brady was suspended and Jimmy G injured. But we still lost that one to a rookie QB.
I don't know about that bud. Man the Jaguars looks like a team they will be good for a lot of years now. They have a top 5 Offensive line, a really good running back, their QB didn't turn the ball over like he usually does and they have a top 3 defense. So you can best believe they will be in the running for that number one spot. The Texans will need to stay healthy and Bill O'Brien better start making smart decision in crunch time situations.
The Jags took advantage of numerous key injuries on the Texans. It's hard to put too much emphasis on the 4-12 record when you consider that the Texans were without nearly their entire starting defense (more than half on the IR), their franchise QB, and multiple weapons on offense throughout the season. Now sure, the Jags have a poor man's version of the Texans which served them well, but the division has long since belonged to the Texans and I don't see a legitimate reason why that would change unless they are hit with similar injuries this season.
I wonder the same thing every single year. Are we the only team that has to play them every year? Why is that anyway? It's not like they are in our division.
Every division plays another whole division every 3 years. First place finishers play first place finishers in the other divisions every year (and 2nd place plays 2nd place, etc. etc.). Combine the Texans actually finishing in first several of the last few years, and the natural turn of the rotation, and you end up playing them quite a bit (especially since they win the division every year).
