[COD BOMB] Rockets have a backup plan for BIG 6 if signing Lebron fails in the summer

I go back and forth. On the one hand, I can see him wanting a ring and trying to win (after all, he did have a very, very shortlist of teams he would have been willing to be traded to). But I can also see him signing a big deal from a dumb team (like the Kings, Nets, Clippers, or Charlotte) and spending his last years getting paid and being the man. I know that's kind of what he had with the Knicks- but those teams were just downright atrocious. I think he'd be content with playoffs every year and a nice check

 

If that happens, would you consider Melo to be one of the "Big 2" coming off the bench? Just wondering where you think he fits in, considering your earlier comments.

With us somehow trading for pg13 or khawi or some other big time playwr

 

SAY NO TO CARMELO. He is no longer good at basketball. Ariza/Tucker/Luc are all superior.

 

At this point, I've moved Melo into the "Finally Time to Take a Pass on Him" level of players.

Harden , CP3 , Gordon & Capella are the first 4 but after doing the math , there cant be a Big 6 .... unless one of them are coming at a massive discount , like playing for the vet minimum discount. They only have ONE Bullet to fire , that being Ryno's contract. That gets you to "big5" and all they can offer beyond that is a taxpayer MLE and minimum contracts.


What Star is coming to play for MLE money (or minimum if Luc gets the MLE) to get to this mythical Big 6.

 

I hope we dont get Lebron, Harden will be playing like crap for sure. I rather have Harden leading the team at this moment. Also, i dont want any bronsexual people following the rockets.

 

I can’t blame him for that. That was his last big deal and I’m sure like most nba players he’s supporting multiple households.
