Astros owner Jim Crane said the team will give out 900 World Series rings to players, coaches front office officials and other club employees next week. "We want everybody to enjoy it, including the ushers and the guys working in the back of the building," Crane said. "Some people have been with us 20-30 years." Commissioner Rob Manfred will be on hand for the ring ceremony Tuesday at Minute Maid Park. "I think he gets a ring, so that's why he's coming," Crane said to laughs from the assembled media at Globe Life Park. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0771080802048941345-4
Crazy to think that Fiers led the team last season in # of innings during the regular season (153 IP). Morton was second with 146 IP.
Astros fans, welcome back to Minute Maid Park. Welcome to Opening Day. I want to thank you for helping the Astros reach new heights in 2017. Your support throughout the season, especially in the postseason, helped us earn this trophy. We created a lot of memories that are now a part of Astros history. We will not settle. Together, we'll create more memories in 2018 and beyond. We are Houston proud. We are Houston Strong. We are the 2017 World Champions. - Jeff Luhnow

What Jose took, that's how much coffee I drink. Even in HEB commercials these guys put forth amazing effort. Some of the best acting I've seen from a Houston athlete in decades. Hakeem and Diesel riding a bike together.
