I agree on Travelers. I enjoyed season 1 more than 2. I didn't realize Magicians was already airing. I'll probably wait until I can binge the whole season.
I watched Rick and Morty all the way through and thought that animated series couldn’t get much better than that. Then I watched Bojack Horseman and now I’m not so sure.
There were a couple that I started when I knew I was too tired to make it through the entire episode, but other than those two yes.
Bojack really came into its own in season 2 but Season 3 and 4 we’re next level story telling. Rick and Morty is fantastic but Bojack is a more relatable show written with extreme precision about a variety of topics, mainly dealing with depression and self sabotage. Last two episodes of Bojack were about as loaded as you can get on a TV show.
Just finished Britannia on Amazon. Sort of like The Last Kingdom with witchcraft thrown in. Enjoyed it.
"Babylon Berlin" on Neflix is a great period drama if you can deal with subtitled German. Very well done. Very high production value. The story weaves its way around accurate Weimar German history very deftly. Also, it's 16 hour long episodes, which makes it a serious time killer.
I had to start Bojack about 3 times before I really got into it. Once I finally did, I now think it's the only other animated show that in the same calibur as Rick and Morty.
Hmm, tried watching the first episode a year back and couldn't finish it. Maybe it's time for me to make another attempt.
