So why is ETH climbing every single day no matter what? I've been trying to buy ETH for 7 days now, just waiting for a dip, but it's climbed for 7 days straight even though other currencies have fluctuated. It's mildly annoying.
Probably because everyone is buying Ether in order to transfer it to another exchange to buy alt coins. Most exchanges only deal in BTC/ETH pairs. ETH is faster and cheaper so it is the logical choice. Personally I believe Ether is headed for $2000 very very soon.

Prices are what you don't want to look at and are completely misleading, it's about market cap and supply. A coin at 10$, low supply and a 5mil cap has more upside than a 0.002$ one at 2bil cap and a ton of supply.
Market cap adjusts. Supply x price. Ripple should slap you in the face. It wasn't top 3 when I got in, so quit saying that. It was 5-6, and now it's #2. SIL
Yes mkt research told me, that my buy at .22 is great given I could forecast a plus 380 high. It told me mkt cap would go larger than eth. It also told me xfers are better on eth than BTC, therefore you find more people buying to xfer. ......Said nobody ever. Give it up with "research", ***** all a game. SIL

Sweet. If I would have had everything I have currently in stocks in it 2 days ago when it was at 3 I would be so set. I can't complain though I have done well this last year. I just rather not work while in graduate school. Gotta pay those bills though
Ive never traded against BTC, granted I haven't had skin in the game as long as some here have. Since BTC skyrocketed past 3k, I have felt ETH is the superior coin to trade against and to transfer in this current cycle. Research has let me to believe this. Now that its harder to make money than lose it, I challenge to produce the same gains over the next month as from the previous month.
