Haven’t gotten a flu shot since high school when it was mandated... and I’m still here! *Knocks on wood*
Does Frankie do a report on Flu Season? While sneezing himself with a red nose and nasally voice: "It's going to be a bad flu season this year. Stock up on your Ginger Ale, Chicken Soup, Vick's Vaporub and pay your Netflix bill."
10% protection > 0% protection. I hate that I have to fly a lot this winter. Ugh. And I'm surrounding by sick-ass students all the time, too.
Yup. I'm done flying for the year but start up full force in January for Puerto Rico repair reports. Hopefully the flu dies in the humidity there. Do not want.
I haven't got the flu shot in probably at least 20 to 25 years. In that time I have only had the flu ONCE in 2010. Yah, pass.
I've only had the flu once. I only Had the flu shot once since Was actually thinking of getting one today A couple of friends have family members in the hospital because of Flu Rocket River
Doing relatively well without the shot for the past 10+ years to the point where i don't even notice it's flu season until i see others getting sicked with the cold/flu.
I love these threads. Very 21st century for so many to brag about not getting a simple, harmless shot that helps protect against a bad community outbreak of the flu. What have scientists every done for anybody anyway? LOL.
Yeah, and herd immunity/immune booster etc. Still worth getting the shot for those that can't. I also tend to think a lot of people misdiagnose themselves on their own sometimes, calling something the flu etc unless they actually went to the Dr and confirmed...
I have had the flu shot before and did not get flu. I have not had the flu shot before and i did not get the flu. Conclusion, I am immortal.
