I was all about the Astros for 2 weeks. But after this loss I'm not sure which is worse about Dallas Cuckhold. His straightened beard (wishing he was james harden) Or His terrible play in big games.
are we really gonna nickname the dude dallas cuckhold for giving up 3 runs in a 1-3 game? kershaw beat him fair and square and it wasn't some huge upset or anything. cuckhold? really?
Its a dumb question but i guess ill say his beard because a ton of dudes can grow long straight beards but very few are world class great pitchers. Btw: he had a reputation as a great clutch big game pitcher until game 5 v yankees and kershaw had a reputation as a big game choker until this years playoffs. Dont be too much stock in the small sample size of playoff games when defining someone. Its close minded and puts them in a box. For all we know, dallas will end up being a hero in his next start. You never know what will happen. The “cuckhold” nickname is classless trash though. Sounds like something a yankees fan would say.
He hasn't been as dominant since coming off the DL as he was before the neck issue earlier in the season. He was good tonight but made the two mistakes that lost the game.
Choking in big games. This team could use a few more athletes that "choke" the way DK does in the playoffs. People that don't know baseball shouldn't pretend like they know it just because the team is good.
"Terrible play in big games"....guy has a 2.84 ERA and a 1.079 WHIP in playoff games for his career. I'd take an entire pitching staff of that for big games and feel comfortable.
last night's loss was hardly on DK. I suppose it's too much to ask for more than a couple of runs from our lineup on the road.
