His outlook is infinitely better with Kizer instead of Brock, but its important to manage expectations. Cleveland will look to run as much as they can to protect him. Coleman goes from undraftable with Brock to late-round flier with Kizer.
I just watched Kizer's plays against the saints. What the hell do i know, but he looked good to me. Pumped faked two guys off a tight end for a long TD. Threw the ball away a few times.
I had a bit more impetuous to get Charles because I already have Anderson. I'm curious how things could shake out.
The dude's got a cannon arm no doubt, but they don't want him getting knocked out of the game dropping back too much and eating sacks. His arm is why you start to get a little hopeful of some darts to Coleman over the top, and I think we will see flashes of it this season, but not a finished product. All I'm saying is don't assume a high upside pick will produce high reward. Hope for WR20 production at WR50 value. Don't automatically think WR1. Those are unicorns. I've had the unicorns like Cruz, ODB, Arian, Alf Morris. Its special. The value of it is what makes it special to me. I took the risk on roatering them before they got big. I'm the ****ing fantasy hipster. Even drafted Kareem Hunt in one league a day before Ware went down. Sometimes its the path of least resistance, in a run-based offense, with a marginal starter ahead of you. Now Hunt MAY not be good, but he sure as **** has opportunity coming his way. Then again he could blow out his knee Week 1 and then you'll all move on to hoping Charcandrick West will save your shitty teams.
1st draft of the year. I have many next week as Harvey postponed a couple. Actually probably drafting more than one simultaneously which is always tough but fun. 8th pick in a 10 team snake 1 - AJ Green 2 -Gronk 3 -DeAndre 4 - Alshon 5 - Marshawn 6 - AP 7 - Ingram 8 - Jameis 9 - Luck 10 -Tevin Coleman 11 - Derrick Henry 12 - Jonathan Stewart 13 - Jordan Matthews 14- Pitt I know my RB situation isnt great but hopefully the NO gets clarity or Henry, Coleman, or Stewart gets a bigger role down the line.
I think your WR group is deep. Too bad you cant flex Allen as i think he will regain form. I have seen Gollady getting some love but I think you are good at WR. TE flyer could be ASJ as Rookie TEs like Howard don't seem to splash. I would stand pat and see how your players start out before suggesting a trade. it looks pretty good for a 12 teamer in my opinion.
Looks strong at WR, TE and QB, Lynch was a good pick but taking Gronk at 2 limited your RBs (either Coleman or Henry should pay for you). Guessing you pick up a K just before game 1, which should be fine because Prater or Lutz or even Rosas (!) should be there.
Thanks, looking at ASJ, Engram, Njoku and McDonald if Fleener is a dud and/or switch to TE stream again this year (last year streamed because Reed was out so much). I can play a W/R/T... deciding between Coleman (ATL favored, Freeman coming off concussion) versus Allen (even though vs DEN).
10 team PPR. 5pts for throwing and receiving TDs and 6 for rushing TDs. 5pt bonus for 400yds passing, 120yds catching, 100 yes rushing. Picking 10th. QB - Cousins, Flacco RB - Kareem Hunt, Adrian Peterson, Doug Martin, Tevin Coleman, Paul Perkins, Darren McFadden WR - Jordy Nelson, Aj Green, Keenan Allen, Adam Thielen(hey @moestavern19) TE - Jordan Reed D/ST - Arizona Cardinals K - Sebastian Janikowski This?

Also remember that Zero-RB is a leverage play against RB volatility. A war of attrition. You won't start to see a real benefit until later in the season when your receivers will be an enormous edge against a team that has been destroyed by an RB bust or injury.
12-team, non-PPR, snake draft, 9th pick. 1. LaSean McCoy 2. Mike Evans 3. Ty Montgomery (wish I could take this back) 4. Isiah Crowell 5. Marcus Mariota (7th QB taken, bought into the hype, maybe should have taken Rivers or Cousins later) 6. Mark Ingram 7. Stefon Diggs 8. Sammy Watkins 9. Randall Cobb 10. Terence West 11. Hunter Henry 12. Mason Crosby 13. Rams Defense (streaming week 1 vs Colts) Didn't come away feeling good about my draft. I think the first two rounds were ok, but after that I possibly made some bad decisions. I'm not sure what made me take Montgomery in the 3rd - that may be a bust pick. I probably should have taken another running back instead - Carlos Hyde or CJ Anderson or Mixon - or even a receiver like Hopkins or D Thomas. Anyone high on Ty Montgomery?
First... nice RBs. Pretty nice to get Evans with your second pick, he went 1.7 in our draft. Guess you could hope for one more top WR but Watkins could surprise and Diggs and Cobb are pretty decent. You might be able to package one or two of your RBs or maybe a RB and WR to get AJA or Mixon. Overall, I think its a pretty good team.
Think I just tanked my last draft. 10 Team with 3 WRs (strange...). On the bright side, I get to burn the first WW of the season. Any ideas? 1. M. Gordon 2. A.J Green 3. C. Hyde 4. T. Kelce 5. T. Hill 6. G. Tate 7. L. Fitz 8. T. Coleman 9. M. Ryan 10. New England 11. K. Rudolph 12. J. Stewart 13. J. White 14. M. Jones 15. J. Connor 16. M. Prater

I'll bite... Standard scoring league, 12-team snake draft. Rather than a team defense, we draft 2 individual defensive players. Special teams yardage counts toward the player, since there's no ST/DEF. We start: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, K, IDP, IDP. I had the 12th pick... how did I do? Crowell, Tate, D thomas, M thomas Watkins, Gillislee, Sanders, Woodhead, Benjamin
