Hohhhhhh fukk Now can we suspend kawhi leonard for almost half da season too? Itll make these atx cowboys/spurs fans get off me for reppin houston so much
As a cowboys fan I'm dissapointed but I knew this was coming. While the loss hurts us I think the running game will still be good enough. But now it puts a bit more pressure on the defense that looks like one of the bottom 10 defense. Curious if he can get it reduced to 4 or even 5 games instead and come back after our bye in week6. Been setting myself of up a mediocre/dissapointing season this year. Too much nonsense going on
Was he convicted of something? This seems kind of harsh with no evidence. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20302469/ezekiel-elliott-dallas-cowboys-suspended-six-games
You don't have to be convicted to be disciplined in the NFL, they want to hold their players to a higher standard. Basically since there was evidence that he was guilty along with a pattern of disrespecting women, he's guilty in the eyes of the NFL.
I thought North Korea hit us with a nuke, but the rumble I heard was early draft fantasy football players who selected Zeke imploding.
The bottom line seems to be they had to have taken the word of a p*rn star that Zeke claims was out to get him for breaking it off (which I read there are texts where she admits it). They obviously didn't take Zeke for his word that he was innocent.
If you bothered to read the letter they typed up it spells out how that's not what they did at all. Their decision was based on multiple things including picture evidence and the reason for the suspension wasn't just the pattern of incidents documented by the ex but also a separate incident that showed a pattern of him disrespecting women.
After the Ray Rice debacle, this was expected. The NFL is now very sensitive about domestic violence or the appearance thereof. Players were thoroughly notified of the new conduct policy which has a 6 game suspension for first-time offense. Again, this has nothing to do with presumed guilt or innocence. It's about public relations. The NFL will penalize a player for putting himself in a situation that creates a public scandal for the NFL.
Of course it will be reduced. NFL exaggerated the suspension so they would have room to bargain. 2 games max.
he wasnt guilty though suspending zeke is about trying to bring dak prescott back down to earth of a 4th round pick. The league has been trying to promote carson wentz all year, they foolishy believe that dak's success came because of zeke smh. So in by punishing zeke they believe Dak will regress in his 2nd year like rg3 did. Also the eagles and giants are set to have top 10 defenses, and it will give the media something to talk about if the cowboys dont win the nfc east. Because believe it or not the cowboys are no longer americas team. They stopped being americas team when dak became the qb. Americas team now is the new england patriots. Their was a movie called "patriots day" starring mark whalberg that was released just before trump became president and the patriots won the superbowl. Tom Brady is a media creation, hes not michael jordan, his success comes right in line with 9/11 attacks
He wasn't guilty in a court of law, but there's plenty of evidence that he did do the things he's alleged to have done....I mean, there's picture evidence of it along with a video of the final incident that led to his suspension. I get that Cowboys homers will want to pretend he's innocent, but....well that's just homerism. He could have literally murdered someone live on television and those same Cowboys homers would be pretending he was innocent.
The Cowboys are worth almost a billion more than the Pats. The Cowboys are the most valuable team in sports and you think they aren't "America's Team" because they have a black QB?
Because its bad for the league when the cowboys are famous right? Smh Zeke has the 2nd highest selling jersey... I dig your posts that defend the beard but your conspiracy theory posts are ridiculous lol.
http://www.tmz.com/2017/08/11/ezekiel-elliott-domestic-violence-girlfriend-nfl/ Ezekiel Elliott beat up his girlfriend 3 times in the same week ... and there are photos that prove it ... this according to the NFL. Elliott is facing a 6 game suspension with these charges. The league laid out its case against Elliott in a letter to the Dallas Cowboys running back detailing a week of violence and terror against Tiffany Thompson that began on July 17, 2016. INCIDENT #1 On July 17, the NFL says Elliott attacked Thompson at the Canvasback Lane apartments in Columbus, Ohio. "You used physical force that caused injuries to Ms. Thompson's arms, neck and shoulders." INCIDENT #2 On July 19, the NFL says there was another altercation at the Canvasback Lane apartments. "You used physical force that caused injuries to Ms. Thompson's face, arms, wrists and hands." INCIDENT #3 On July 21, the NFL says there was a 3rd incident at the Canvasback Lane apartments. "You used physical force that caused injuries to Ms. Thompson's face, neck, arms knee and hips." The league says it went to prosecutors to find out why Elliott was not charged with a crime. The NFL was told, "We never concluded that she was lying to us ... we generally believed her for all of the incidents." Prosecutors had previously said there was "conflicting and inconsistent information across all incidents, resulting in concern regarding the sufficiency of the evidence to support the filing of criminal charges." ___________________________________ http://www.tmz.com/2017/08/11/ezekiel-elliott-appeal-suspension/ Ezekiel Elliott says the NFL got it 100% WRONG by concluding he attacked his girlfriend on 3 separate occasions -- and vows to appeal his 6-game suspension. "Mr. Elliott and his team of representatives are extremely disappointed with the NFL’s decision," the Dallas Cowboys star's camp said in a statement. "The NFL's findings are replete with factual inaccuracies and erroneous conclusions and it 'cherry picks' so called evidence to support its conclusion while ignoring other critical evidence." "For example, both the Columbus Prosecutor's office as well as the NFL investigators expressly concluded and conveyed to our office (and others) that the accuser was lying about an alleged July 22, 2016 incident whereby she accused Mr. Elliott of pulling her out of her car and assaulting her. An allegation that was ultimately undermined by her false allegation of assault." "In addition, the NFL's own medical experts concluded that many of her injuries predated the week in question and likely occurred during a period of time when Mr. Elliott was not in contact with the accuser." "During the upcoming weeks and through the appeal a slew of additional credible and controverting evidence will come to light." ___________________________________ http://www.tmz.com/2017/08/11/ezekiel-elliott-domestic-violence-injury-photos/ Ezekiel Elliott's accuser took several photos of the injuries she claims she suffered at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys running back ... showing bruising on her arms, hands, neck and legs. Zeke's accuser claims she suffered the injuries during the week of July 16 -- when Elliott allegedly attacked her 3 times on 3 separate occasions. Elliott told police investigators he did not cause the bruises -- claiming the woman suffered the injuries in a bar fight. The NFL independently investigated the allegations -- and obtained photos of the alleged injuries which the league claims it was able to verify came from incidents involving Elliott. Elliott says the investigation is WRONG and vows to appeal the 6-game suspension he received as a result of the investigation. TMZ Sports also obtained a copy of the 911 call made by the accuser in which she claims Elliot had attacked her multiple times.
