Report:Investigator Says Evidence Showing Deceased DNC Staffer Seth Rich Was Emailing With WikiLeaks

I have missed our back and forth exchanges. I just woke up so I thought I would catch up. My house is not wheel-chair friendly so I don't get to the computer as often as I would like.

Sean Hannity is an opinion personality, not a journalist. His views are his own, but he was rightly rebuked by Fox News for stating "facts" that he could not substantiate. The "journalists" from CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, Politico, NY Times, Washington Post that I rebuked make charges that they cannot prove except through unidentified "sources." Most are debunked within days, but the front page headlines become minor retractions hidden in the back pages, if at all as in the cases of the electronic media.

What concerns me is that the vast majority of media coverage concentrates on Trumps failings while ignoring his positives. Trump's first foreign tour was filled with positives, but most reporters concentrated on sword dances and veils. Very little attention was paid to the 50 Arab nations that were quite pleased with the U.S. tilt toward them rather than Obama's dramatic tilt to the Iranians. According to media analyst Howard Kurtz guest panelists, a number of those reporters knew little to nothing about the 1967 Mideast War but could answer any social media spin by Madonna or Katie Perry. However, how could they know -- our colleges teach social welfare but not history or critical thinking.

Before my hospitalization I visited a few journalism classes at UT-Austin. I had the chance to chat with some of the j-students and, in doing so, discovered they did not know what the philosophical difference was in Car A hit Car B versus Car A and Car B collided. For the non-intelligensia, let me explain. Car A hitting Car B shows fault (the journalist has taken a position that he or she can neither prove or disprove if they did not witness the event. Car A and Car B colliding is a statement of fact, and the journalist does not take a position. Watch or read the "news" and look for the aforementioned trends and you will be amused or frightened (I hope the latter). Of course, all journalists aspire to be columnists.

 

It will take thumbs ten or twenty years to realize he was duped by Trump. This is the guy who thought Obama was a secret Muslim trying to destroy America. He's easily duped by the stupidest of ideas.

The respect he gets from certain posters here is confusing to me. He articulates well, but threads like that are reprehensible.
