    Agreed.

That's why getting one star in a trade now would make sense though. Getting Paul and another max guy might be too much to keep Gordon salary wise.

Firmly believe that if we deal Beverley, we have a second star in the bag.

I also don't believe Bev has requested a trade. We've not seen this being reported by any reliable source.

Dude. Beverly is working social media hard to push the trade narrative. It got reported he was on the block and hours later Feigen, who consistently works as the front office's voice in the media, came out and tried to downplay the idea. Feigen said that BEV might think he's on the block but that he's not. Bev then does more social media stuff to stir the spot and makes a comment about lots of teaming wanting him. Marc Stein reports the trade story about Bev and gets a quote from Bev about it. MARC STEIN.

Bev is working for a trade.

The only way I would be ok with trading Bev is to couple Anderson with him. I Haven't had a chance to wear my new Bev jersey to a game.

Nothing to worry about, Morey knows not to pick up the phone when the j*zz are calling

Um, no.....it's because I have common sense. We're trying to convince James Harden to sign a multi-year extension, while also trying to sign established stars to help compete against the Warriors. A rookie would do nothing for our chances at winning a championship this year, and you'd be testing the patience of your MVP-caliber All-Star that's already on the roster. I didn't think it was that big of a leap to assume that the Rockets don't care to draft Malik Monk or whoever is there when we pick.

I believe Bev is trolling us and underneath it all hinting that they are shopping him for picks to get George.

Trade narrative is one thing. I'm just saying, Pat Beverley or his agent did not ask Morey to trade him. I'm not saying he's not being shopped.

Stein did not get a quote that Bev has requested a trade btw.

Right, all that's attributed to him is that he's amendable to a trade.

Bev wants a trade. I honestly can't think of another player who has worked this hard to put trade rumors out there about himself. Essentially every big name reporter has carried the story now with their own information attributed to people close to Bev with the same type of info. He's not opposed to a trade, he's amendable to a trade, he's excited about so many teams being interested in him, etc.

Utah fans are clearly uneducated but I am all for fleecing them if they're down for it.

Ryan Anderson and Beverley to Utah for Joe Johnson works under the cap. Utah gets a gritty cheap PG to replace Hill, and a perfect complement to the stifle tower. Houston gets $13M in cap relief, and D'Antoni finally gets Joe Johnson back. This time though, as payback for not wanting to play down a position from SG to SF in Phoenix, Houston will make him play PF.
