If the rockets jump the gun, and trade Bev, then I'm sad. If Bev gets a pay day from someone else, and the rockets get another guy to fit with James I'll live.

    EVERY TEAM OWULD WANT BEVERLEY

You have got to be the team that finds the Beverley's and in some cases pays the Beverley's

Rockets did the former and don't want to do the latter. But every team gets better with Bev

heart, soul, hustle, leadership, key plays, clutch, passion

I sure hope they don't trade him before my kids go to his basketball camp in mid-July.

If half the league wants the guy, then that should tell you something. He's pretty good. He's on a cheap contract and he can make threes. He's really the kind of player we should want to hold onto.

I guess maybe he's one of the few players on our roster that is viewed as being valuable by other teams. So, the Rockets in their never ending quest for star players are now considering trading a guy that gives them everything he's got everytime he plays. Hope we can keep him.

The ultimate challenge is getting rid of Anderson, so unfortunately Bev will have to go in order to make that happen. If we get a pick for Bev, I bet we attach that pick to Anderson in order to dump him.

If we have to dump Bev to get the asset to dump Ryan Anderson that will really piss me off.

    Bev, #45 to Utah

    Gordon, #24, #30 to Indiana

    Paul George to Houston

    It's better than #27, #28 and Clarkson

    Who says no?

Package him with Gordon & Harrell and take back some future picks to route to Indy for PG13 - we need to leave the door open to sign CP3 in which case Bev's minutes would be significantly reduced anyways.

CP3/Harden/PG13/Ryno/Capela should be the dream we chase.

good for PB and all the work hes put in. going from almost no one wanting him to now an established rotational player where a significant amount of teams want him including winning teams

Utah with gordon bev and harrell would beat us after not acquiring CP3 and PG13

The Rockets have absolutely no intention of drafting someone in the first round tomorrow night. If they can acquire a mid-to-high first round pick, they will immediately flip that to another team for a star.

I believe Morey's "dream" involves a team that still has Gordon on it. Gordon is the one guy on the roster outside of Harden that can be a star at any given time if he's healthy and playing well.

A team that hypothetically has Paul/Lowry, Harden and say Paul George or Milsap with Gordon on the bench for example has a poor man's Big Four.

The Jazz are really an interesting partner...

Anderson should be a decent fit with Gobert (Favors is not going to stay there)

Hill might be gone, Hayward too...maybe they could've some interest in Lou too as a back up for Pat.

And they have also young guys like Lyles and Hood (not sure he's available but who knows) who should be way more interesting for the Pacers than Clarkson adn Randle...

Guess what?? you can only get value in return by trading value out.

Sometimes it doesn't seem like it. Like oh, such and such team got a great deal. take the trade for Lou Williams, or the OKC acquisition of Taj Gibson. But the other teams in those deals got the value they needed out of it.

And even more, if 12 teams int eh league want a guy, but your best offer in return is cap space and two very late first rounders, that also tells you something.
