    you don't put the runner on base if he ties the game. Reasonable approach to that AB by Giles/McCann/Hinch

    If it's any other hitter I 100% agree. Beltre has a history of hitting in spots like this against us. I think you go against the grain in specific situations. All hindsight though, he easily could have grounded out.
