Texans Twitterers are all trashing Osweiler after praising his signing and training camp play last year.
So far consensus is Weeden looks comfortable and the other two not so much. Will be interesting to follow that throughout the offseason and pre-season. You'll keep hearing platitudes about Savage, just like you did about Brock, but need to focus on what they DON'T say and then the way they describe Weeden. We should have paid more attention to the fact that basically every single person that watched practice all off-season and pre-season last year thought Brock looked like the worst QB on the team.
I was really expecting Savage to go off in OTAs. Wonder what the deal is. Maybe that playbook really is in Spanish. Or maybe he's just rusty.
1) Practice has barely started 2) If you are expecting him to go off you probably have set your expectations a tad bit high
I was thinking someone else was up for that spot. They better get on it. Robert Nelson ain't playing no games.
They have a right too don't you think? He was that bad Mr. Clutch. Once you watched and endured his actual play on the field, fans are going to be extremely critical. Especially when you hear the nonsense that comes out his mouth.
I agree he was bad. But it was our team that gave him a $72 million contract. Brock was just a bench guy. What the Texans did was more embarrassing.
Most definitely but our guys thought he was ready. They did make an hasty investment for sure. We all had to learn the hard way. Hahaha
I want to see a team say "the guys came in in worse shape than last year!" Presumably, it would be the case about half the time.
