Only bad thing about this pick is to expect a lot more running the clock plays now. Good thing is goal line offense took a major step. And what's more important than scoring points and ability to protect a lead?
I don't mind running the ball non stop as long as it isn't right into the line over and over for minimal gains. I've given up that we will ever see he creativity or NASCAR offense that obrien promised. I'll just settle for effective at this point.
The more I read this board, the more I realize Posters like you have NO ****ING CLUE about football. A FB? A FB doesn't run a sub 4.5 40. A FB doesn't run for 2,000 yards in a season in a Power 5 conference. There was NO OL available at that pick that was a better value than Foreman. Dumbass like you need to stop posting because lower the football IQ over EVERYONE that reads your Bullshit.
I'm really confused about his pass pro now. Braddock wrote up that he is one of the worst players at picking up the blitz for his size that he's ever scouted
Same here. I've read on some draft profiles that he's a poor pass protector and then on some that he's good.
It's pretty strange. PFF didn't have a single sack on him last season although he could've gave up some QB pressures. But having watched every UT game, I can't recall a lot of plays where 1. Required the RB to block and 2. Where Foreman wiffed or got blown up.
Technically, Marcell Reece ran a 4.42 40 yard dash...... at 231 lbs, thus the reason Gil brant said above 232 =P But, to the first part, yes, he's an idiot poster, pay him no mind. D'Onta might play some fullback, he's big enough, but I'd highly doubt it. He'll be a short yardage back and spell miller a bit on 1 and 2.
Again, his technique is bad. He cut blocked everyone despite being bigger. But his coaches might have told him to do that, because all the other backs woulda had to do that. How do they coach 1 player 1 way and everyone else different? We might never know. But, he allowed 0 sacks and never had his QB hurried. So take Braddocs write up how you want. He can't be the best at everything, if so, they f'ed up the heisman again.... (they do that anyway, but you get the point).
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ok-top-5-coming-into-focus-new-big-board-more Texas pro day recap —All eyes were on running back D'Onta Foreman after a non-serious stress fracture in his foot kept him from running at the combine. At 233 pounds, Foreman ran times in the low 4.4s, according to scouts at the workout. One such scout had him timed at 4.41 on his first run. —Foreman also showed off his receiving skills and was very impressive in those drills. Foreman's stock is back on the rise after many seemed to forget about the big back over the last three months. He's in my top 50.
Hey, that sounds great, King1! It should add some spice to the season...We'll have fun with it. I'm also open to getting as many as possible involved @ like $ 20.00 apiece with the proceeds going to the tip jar. Either way, good show...Hopefully, they have plans for Tackle through FA or Trade.
Agreed and me too. I think bobby has to jump in here. A few of us should carry the $500 price tag but anyone who jumps in at even $20 is completely cool too. It is all helping the site
