    I think we saw what you're talking about in Dek's one start this year. His 30pt game was a glimpse into what he'll be able to offer with more PT and experience. I don't really like the Harrison Barnes or Batum comparisons. I'll go a bit more old school and say he has a little John Havlicek in him. Havlicek was always moving like a shark in the ocean, he never stopped. Havlicek was also a feisty defender and competitor, who got the most out of his abilities. Dek is not in his class, but if he continues to improve on his game he could be a bit like John accept in a SF/PF kind of role.

    He reminds me of Rudy Gay. His defense is decent, rebounding is great, and his shooting is great but inconsistent.

    That may be, but you have to admit Barnes' athleticism has more rhythm to it.

    I know people think this is crazy but he reminds me of robert horry, just without the wiry length.....

    If you think about it......

    Rebounds wells
    Blocks a surprising amount of shots
    Very athletic
    And from my eyes he seems to play decent one on one defense (except when clearly overpowered)
    Kinda clumsy
    And dunks a lot and finishes well.....

    Absolutely . I think he could get there . I've brought up the comparison before . Part of what made Horry so good was his clutch gene , as so far Dekker hasn't shied away from big moments.

    He's a competitor and i think his shot will improve and hopefully he will gain more athleticism as he continues on the NBA training regimen.

    Dekker falls into that category of a being a pretty valuable asset in today's nba.

    Wing with size/length/athleticism and 3&d potential.
    That as well as on a rookie contract and shows flashes as well as steady improvement.

    I wonder what Morey would need to get back to consider trading him.

    Mid first?
    Established starter?
