[Movie] Lion

As for the movie, I do like Dev Patel. Don't know much about the director Garth Davis. 86% on rotten tomatoes. Just no strong desire to see it as I kind of feel like I already know the highlights of the story.

 

Dev Patel has a monopoly on all the Indian roles in Hollywood

 

So I actually watched the movie on my iphone while working today...ha.
Kind of as expected. Well done, but nothing earth shattering, and if you know the story going in, well it's the story.

Since I have kids, it came across as a pretty sad story in totality. not sure if that's what the book or movie is going for - obviously there are just some very sad elements to the story.

 

He's got some fierce competition in training with that awesome little kid who is in the first half of this movie.

 

Holy shhh such a good movie.

Got the feels for the first time in years.
