Raiders are a good team or a bad team based on this result. If they beat us they are good, and we aren't. If we win... we still aren't any good, but neither were the Raiders. Or at least that will be the narrative. I myself don't think highly of us right now, but taking this game (solid opponent, national TV) will go a long way in helping me feel better about this squad.
Well, this is a decent matchup for us if Brock can have one of his better games this year. Hopefully he does. The running game has been very very good thus far.
No faith in Brock and raiders are a bad matchup with that big OL and Murray. just don't think the Texans are leaving Mexico City with a win
What chances the Texans have in this game will be determined by how many, if any the Texans will get back from injury this week. I don't think they can roll in with the same skeleton crew they went into Jacksonville with and come out winners.
The Mexico city factor makes this game a total toss-up. Almost will have a Thursday-night feel to it.
Derek Carr will throw for 500 yards and 5 TDs, this isn't a normal game for him, this is personal. He is going to avenge his brother who he believes got treated unfairly here by the team and the fans. This is about family honor.
If we keep it close and lose within 9 points, I'm good. We have many a injury. Hopefully this is mentioned plenty during the game.
Texans re-sign Kenny Hilliard to practice squad http://www.chron.com/sports/texans/...Kenny-Hilliard-to-practice-squad-10616372.php
I have no idea what to expect from either team considering all the variables (altitude, weather, crowd atmosphere, field conditions, ease of travel, etc). For some reason though, I get the same feeling here that I did for the Minnesota game. I can see us starting incredibly slow on both sides of the ball, going down 2-3 scores early, then spending the rest of the game clawing our way back into it. In the end, it won't be enough. Raiders - 34 Texans - 17
