    Wife wanted to see this when it hits Netflix, was season 1 worthwhile? I know it's got musical numbers and whatnot but is the show as a whole enjoyable?

    It's has musical numbers but it's related to the plot and character. It's not random like in Glee. All original music which is cool. It has that Kimmy Shmidth/Tina Fey humor in it. The characters are the best thing about the show in my opinion.

    Cool deal, we'll watch it whenever it pops up on Netflix, we both love Tina Fey / Kimmy Schmidt style stuff....

    I wanted to watch this show because of this thread.

    Season 1 is now on Netflix!
    Me and the wife watched it over the course of about 3 days.
    This show is hilarious! Lots of great dark humor.
    Great show to binge watch with your lady!
