April- Nope it was a fluke, he sucks

August - Why the f**k is he still on this team

I wouldn't go that far just yet.

 

Since they put him back in the lineup in mid September his OPS is over 1.250, so yea I would go that far.

Doesn't mean I want him back next year, but he's been unreal down the stretch.

If he can keep the hot bat through October then I couldn't care less what he did the first 5 months. He's showing up at the right time and kudos to him for that

 

I've said this previously, but he deserves a lot of credit. He didn't quit on his team; he didn't poison the locker room - by all accounts, he continued to work on his game while he was effectively banished to the end of their bench.

Players - all of them - have ENORMOUS egos; I admire him tremendously for shaking off what has to have been a miserable experience for him to really come through when the team needed it. Much respect. It's yet another reason to love this team...
